Join our diverse Client Services unit, a strategically vital division that provides technical support to our clients worldwide. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer with enthusiasm for IT infrastructure to join our global team.
Your role as a DevOps Engineer will involve providing service and support to major clients in the global financial sector, specifically in operating their SimCorp applications using our as-a-service solution.
You will be a valuable member of a scrum team responsible for setting up the infrastructure with our hosting providers. Your primary focus will be on maturing and automating the solution on the Azure platform. We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft Azure specialist who can effectively troubleshoot issues and drive innovative solutions.

If you are proficient in utilizing Cloud Technology Tool stacks and have expertise in Windows OS and its applications.
What is important for us is knowledge within automation and scripting tools like Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell.

What will you be responsible for

Actively engage in Scrum events and contribute to the planning process to ensure the team achieves its goals, including defining the completion criteria for each sprint.

Collaborate with the product owner and fellow engineers to refine and enhance new features.

Uphold the integrity of the existing code base through maintenance and bug fixes.

Contribute to code reviews and formulate comprehensive test scenarios for the platform.

Foster continuous learning and development for yourself, the team, and our platform.

Construct and maintain solutions that optimize reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Play an active role in sharing knowledge and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing within the team.

Explore emerging technologies and evaluate potential solutions to improve our platform.
What we value

Experience with Azure configuration tool stack (ARM templates, Bicep, Az PowerShell, Az CLI)

Hands-on experience working with modern CI/CD solutions.

Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Windows AD, AAD, DNS, Networking, PowerShell scripting, Python, Ansible/Terraform, and Azure.

Have a broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure automation in general.

Experience in designing and implementing automation for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.

Experience in Azure Identity Management and access control security.

Experience with cloud monitoring, log analytics, and application insights.

Effective communication and collaboration skills with a service-oriented mindset.

Language skills: English level C1 both written & verbal. (European language scale - CEFR)
Additional skills that would be valued:

Proficiency in working with Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment, and orchestration.

Experience with Citrix DaaS, NetScaler solutions

Familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus monitoring stack.
