About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to support customer

lifecycle operations, release and feature rollouts, customer change management, and DevOps automation. The

role is responsible for executing reliable production changes while improving operational efficiency through

Python-based automation.

The ideal candidate combines practical DevOps knowledge with disciplined execution, clear cross-functional

communication, and ownership of customer-facing operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute customer onboarding and offboarding activities from a DevOps perspective, including environment readiness, configuration, access enablement or removal, validation, and closure checklists.

• Plan and support customer release rollouts, feature enablement, minor upgrades, and production deployments with documented pre-checks, implementation steps, post-validation, and rollback plans.

• Manage customer change management workflows end to end, including change request creation, impact and risk assessment, approval tracking, maintenance-window scheduling, implementation evidence, and closure.

• Develop and maintain Python automation for repetitive operational tasks, customer lifecycle workflows, deployment orchestration, ticket updates, reporting, data validation, and health checks.

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to make build, release, and deployment processes

repeatable, traceable, and reliable.

• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Release Management, Customer Success/TAM, Support, and Operations teams to coordinate changes and resolve rollout dependencies or blockers.

• Monitor deployments and production changes, troubleshoot failures, participate in incident resolution, and document corrective and preventive actions.

• Maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, deployment guides, automation documentation, and audit-ready change records.

• Identify manual steps and process gaps, propose improvements, and implement automation that reduces turnaround time and operational risk.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, release engineering, deployment operations, platform operations, or a related role.

• Demonstrated experience supporting customer onboarding and offboarding activities in a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environment.

• Experience executing release rollouts, feature enablement, upgrades, and production changes across customer environments.

• Working knowledge of customer change management processes, including approvals, risk assessment, maintenance windows, implementation plans, validation, rollback, and closure.

• Strong Python scripting and automation skills, including experience working with REST APIs, JSON/YAML, data processing, error handling, logging, and reusable modules.

• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Harness, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

• Working knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Good troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with technical and customer-facing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Jira, Jira Automation, ITSM/change management tools, or workflow automation platforms.

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code or configuration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools and with creating operational dashboards or reports.

• Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or another customer-focused technology organization.

• Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, ITIL, Agile, or Lean certification is an advantage.

• Customer onboarding, offboarding, releases, and feature rollouts are completed accurately, on

schedule, and with clear audit evidence.

• Change workflows consistently meet approval, communication, maintenance-window, validation, and closure requirements.

• Python automation measurably reduces manual effort, processing time, deployment risk, and repeat operational issues.
