- Automate and optimize deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable software releases.
- Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and RDS databases, to maintain high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal system health.
- Design and develop scalable and secure infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure security and compliance by implementing security measures, conducting regular security audits, and staying updated with industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with the operations team to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Document and maintain comprehensive documentation for all DevOps processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and easy onboarding for new team members.
- Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and trends, and propose innovative solutions to improve our platform's efficiency.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to other team members on DevOps-related queries and challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a proven track record of successfully managing AWS infrastructure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and configuration management.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration platforms.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
