Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
Preferred - Cloud and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert) are an added advantage.
Experience & Technical expertise:
3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, IT operations, or software development with hands-on experience in managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Python programming handson, AWS CDK (Python), Cloud Formation or other IaC tools in AWS environments.
Strong knowledge of core AWS services:
IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, Route53, Load Balancer, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS
Solid understanding of Networking concepts, IAM policies, and Security best practices.
Strong knowledge of Python with commonly used modules such as boto3, requests, os, sys, json, yaml, logging.
Knowledge on Groovy & Jenkins.
Practical experience on CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Artifactory, Jenkins).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration techniques is good to have
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration, networking, and security fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate code testing, building, and deployment, using AWS CDK with Python.
Ensure that code changes are continuously integrated and delivered with the highest quality and stability.
Write modular, reusable Python code for infrastructure, automation scripts, tools, or microservices.
Provision and manage AWS services such as VPC, Lambda, EC2, ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.
Create CI/CD scripts in groovy and execute using Jenkins
Integrate infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring repeatable and automated deployments.
Work closely with application developers to provide infrastructure that supports backend services.
Implement best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and performance.
Debug, troubleshoot, and monitor infrastructure and Python-based tooling in development and production.
Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and codebase.
Automate routine operational tasks with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Bridge gaps between development, testing, and operations teams to foster seamless collaboration.
Facilitate agile development practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and boost team productivity.
Implement and configure monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively track application performance.
Analyze system logs and metrics to identify issues, ensure system health, and optimize performance.
Incorporate security best practices in the automated processes, including vulnerability assessments and compliance checks.
Collaborate with security teams to automate the enforcement of security policies and ensure that all deployments meet regulatory requirements.
Manage post-deployment challenges, troubleshooting issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Develop protocols for rapid incident response and remediation.
