Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualized environments (ESXi, vCenter) ensuring high availability and performance.
- Architect and manage Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services.
- Administer and support Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Azure DevTest Labs & Horizon VDIs.
- Manage Entra ID & Active Directory services including GPOs, OU structure, identity lifecycle, and security hardening.
- Configure and maintain core infrastructure services such as DNS and DHCP.
- Perform OS patching and vulnerability remediation across servers using enterprise patch management tools.
- Utilize ManageEngine tools for monitoring, reporting, and IT operations management.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Ansible to streamline operational tasks.
- Abiding by Incident, Change and Problem Management procedures.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure SLA adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices.
- Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations using Commvault, ensuring data protection, retention compliance, and successful disaster recovery readiness.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with strong hands-on expertise in VMware and Azure.
- Solid experience with Windows Server administration (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022/2025).
- Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
- Hands-on experience with OS patching and patch management processes.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
- Familiarity with ManageEngine suite
- Experience with Commvault backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
