Role Summary
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join an international platform engineering team responsible for developing and operating a centralized automation platform used across ING. You will design and implement automation solutions that enable teams to independently manage infrastructure and application environments while maintaining high standards for security, reliability, and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and operate a centralized automation platform built on Ansible Automation Platform and Azure DevOps
- Build and maintain automation solutions that improve consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for RHEL-based systems and middleware platforms
- Automate installation, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management processes
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and platform teams across multiple countries and time zones
- Contribute to engineering best practices, platform standards, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code, configuration management, and deployment automation
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Scripting experience using Bash, Shell, PowerShell, and/or Python
- Development experience using Go (Golang) and/or Java (Spring Boot)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, including deployments, scaling, and cluster operations
- Experience working with Linux/RHEL environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Cloud platform experience.
- Observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or similar
- Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps/SRE practices
- Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
- Experience with Agile ways of working
- Experience with Automic Workload Automation (AWA)
