We are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong technical skills and solid working experience to join our internal team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This includes networking, compute, storage, identity/access, monitoring, security, and cost management across a wide range of project environments
  • Install, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters from scratch on VMs (no managed/cloud OpenShift - this is full, manual, ground-up cluster setup and ongoing lifecycle management) for our IBM Cloud Pak engagements
  • Install and configure third party Cloud Servicer on top of those OpenShift environments
  • Deploy and operate Kubernetes workloads, primarily via Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Docker Compose

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional DevOps experience
  • Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
  • Working knowledge of Linux systems administration
  • Practical experience with Docker and container-based deployment workflows
  • Experience with Kubernetes, ideally including AKS
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling - GitLab CI/CD experience is a strong plus
  • Comfort working across multiple concurrent projects and technology stacks, given our project-based structure

Nice to have:

  • Experience installing or administering OpenShift clusters (especially manual/on-VM installs)
  • Experience with any IBM Cloud Pak product
  • Relevant certifications: Azure (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-500), CKA/CKAD, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, or similar
  • Scripting/automation skills (Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC tools)
  • Exposure to Java/Spring Boot or frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue) from a deployment/operations perspective
  • Familiarity with Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, or the ELK stack
