Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps
Engineer to join their growing technology team. This role will play a
critical part in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and
high-performing infrastructure. You will work closely with development and QA
teams to ensure seamless delivery pipelines and reliable production
environments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and manage scalable infrastructure supporting modern applications, including AI-driven systems
· Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
· Optimize cloud and on-premise environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
· Manage and enhance real-time data streaming and queuing systems
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability
· Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
· Establish monitoring for both system performance and application-level metrics
· Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability
· Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth deployment of new features
· Promote best practices in architecture, security, and performance optimization
· Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems
· Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001)
· Manage secrets and credentials securely using tools like Vault or cloud-native solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
experience)
- Proficiency
in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or Go
- Hands-on
experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Strong
experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience
with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI
- Familiarity
with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog,
Grafana)
- Solid
understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
- Exposure
to real-time data processing architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience
with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Knowledge
of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
- Familiarity
with database scaling and administration (SQL, NoSQL, Vector databases)
- Experience
working in high-traffic or production-critical environments
