Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Director to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of secure DevSecOps capabilities supporting Cyber Command mission partners, including MARFORCYBER and DCDC.
What You'll Be Doing:Provide technical leadership and oversight for DevSecOps, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and software delivery initiatives supporting MARFORCYBER and DCDC.
Lead teams in designing, implementing, and continuously improving secure CI/CD pipelines, automated security controls, and resilient mission-focused technology solutions.
Integrate cybersecurity throughout the system development lifecycle, including requirements definition, threat modeling, security testing, vulnerability management, remediation, and deployment.
Coordinate with government leadership, technical teams, mission partners, and external organizations to resolve technical and operational challenges and meet program objectives.
Develop technical talent, establish engineering best practices, and ensure compliance with applicable DoD policies, cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and organizational procedures.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 10+ years of experience within a technical, cybersecurity, software engineering, cloud, or related field
Active Top Secret clearance is required
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and delivering DevSecOps, cybersecurity, cloud, software engineering, or IT modernization initiatives.
Strong knowledge of secure software development, CI/CD, automated security testing, vulnerability management, infrastructure as code, cloud security, and security operations.
Ability to translate mission and business objectives into technical requirements, project plans, secure architectures, and measurable outcomes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to work effectively in a DoD or other highly regulated environment.
Experience supporting U.S. Cyber Command, MARFORCYBER, DCDC, or other DoD cyber and mission-focused organizations.
Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity and risk management processes, including the Risk Management Framework, Authority to Operate activities, continuous monitoring, and NIST-based security controls.
Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, DevSecOps tooling, software supply chain security, secrets management, and security automation.
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, RMF, DoD STIGs, CIS Controls, Zero Trust, and relevant Department of Defense policies.
Active security certification or relevant technical certification, such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, GIAC, Certified DevSecOps Professional, or a cloud security certification.
