Global Business Services

Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations. Process Overview

The Global Information Security (GIS) is responsible for protecting Bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. Cyber Security technology function is responsible of development and maintenance of security products across Bank of America. Team works on various security products and also develops in-house products.

Job Description

The individual will be part of Cyber Security technology team that are responsible for the ongoing development of applications that provides Bank of America users with developing products that help reduce risk around Information Security Threats. We are heavily invested in process automation and want to leverage the candidate’s expertise to shift left in testing to drive higher quality and enable more frequent releases.

Role Description - This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. These individuals possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. 

Primary Level of Engagement: Works as a team member under supervision from a more senior domain expert.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain vendor applications on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
  • Collaborate with vendors to understand application architecture and deployment requirements.
  • Monitor application performance, availability, and resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize container configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
  • Document deployment processes, configurations, and operational runbooks.
  • Work with internal teams to integrate vendor applications with enterprise systems (e.g., databases, identity providers, logging platforms).
  • Participate in capacity planning and scaling strategies.

Requirements

 Education : B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications If Any : NA

Experience Range : 7+ years

 Foundational skills

  • Experience in application deployment and infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerization (Docker).
  • Familiarity with Helm charts, Operators, and OpenShift templates.
  • Experience deploying and managing third-party/vendor applications in enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and YAML/JSON.
  • Understanding of networking, storage, and security in containerized environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

 Desired skills

  • Red Hat OpenShift certification.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Exposure to ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

Work Timings : 11:30  Am to 8:30 Pm
