The Mission

GCRS is an API orchestrator (End2End service) that serves as a vital backbone for secure and efficient financial data exchange within the ING ecosystem and beyond. It verifies the accuracy of incoming account information and fund confirmation requests originating from external third parties, ING clients, and internal ING stakeholders. Ensuring robust security, it confirms that strong customer authentication is provided promptly for each request.

When necessary, the orchestrator enhances these requests across Europe, retrieving detailed ledger information from multiple countries to ensure comprehensive data accuracy. It adeptly maps responses from various European jurisdictions into standardized external reporting formats, seamlessly integrating with the back-office systems of third parties, ING clients, or internal teams.

Anticipating upcoming legislative changes, this asset positions ING as a central orchestrator in the evolving financial landscape. Its innovative design aims to establish ING as the premier channel for future-ready, computer-to-computer communication—empowering real-time information exchange that meets the growing demands of clients worldwide.

Your day to day

• Automated build and deployment process based on the CI/CD tools provided in Azure DevOps and using internal private cloud (virtual machines);
• Carry out production deployments, identifying and patching vulnerabilities with Change management in mind;
• Building and maintaining monitoring and reporting frameworks (Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana);
• Manage, generate, sign application certificates (SSL, TLS);
• React to incidents and perform standby activities with the rest of the team;
• Provide the evidence to cover the required IT Risk Controls.
• Share knowledge with the other colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent team player in an international team, quality focused, service oriented, eager to learn.

What you bring to the team

Experience: 5+ years of DevOps/Ops/Automation experience;

Tech stack:

• Strong Linux skills;
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus;
• Good understanding of the ELK Stack;
• Experience working in an Agile environment, using Agile methodologies and related tools (Jira, Confluence);
• Familiar with continuous integration & continuous delivery principles and tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure DevOps);
• Nice to have cloud experience (Kubernetes/Openshift)
• Nice to have experience with IT Risk & Security concepts.
