Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support and optimize cloud-based and on-premises solutions, particularly within Azure and Google Cloud environments. This role is critical in enhancing infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes while ensuring that our solutions meet high security and performance standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in DevOps methodologies, scripting, and cloud solutions to collaborate closely with development and engineering teams, ensuring seamless system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update Deployment and Technical Support: Deploy updates and fixes for cloud and internal solutions, providing Level 2 technical support as needed.
• Tool Development and Optimization: Build and refine tools to reduce errors, increase system efficiency, and improve user experience, focusing on optimizing Azure performance.
• System Integration and Security: Develop and enhance integrations between internal systems and Azure, prioritizing the closure of security gaps in direct API connections.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and resolve technical problems, enhancing system stability.
• Automation and Visualization: Automate system visualization processes through scripting and tool development.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting Protocols: Design protocols for system troubleshooting and regular maintenance, with a primary focus on security.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• DevOps and Cloud Solutions Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role, with direct experience in Azure and Google Cloud environments.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Scripting Skills: Strong working knowledge of Ruby or Python for scripting and automation.
• Database Proficiency: Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Azure Optimization and Security: Prior experience optimizing Azure environments and improving security, especially in API integrations between internal and cloud systems.
• Enterprise Application Engineering: Familiarity with enterprise application engineering and considerations for enhancing customer experience.
