Role Summary:
Owns deployment pipelines, automation, and infrastructure for the Streamlit application on Google Cloud. Ensures secure, stable, and scalable environments with efficient CI/CD practices.
Objective:
Automate, deploy, and maintain the application’s infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the system on Google Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage deployments to Google Cloud Run and related infrastructure (Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, IAM, Pub/Sub)
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Manage Git repositories and coordinate release management
- Configure and monitor cloud permissions and access controls
- Troubleshoot and debug infrastructure or deployment issues
- Support the team with automation and environment configuration
- Maintain DevOps and deployment documentation
Key Skills:
- Cloud Platforms: Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, IAM)
- CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or Jenkins
- Scripting: Python, Bash
- Monitoring: Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring
- Version Control: Git
- Practices: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform desirable), containerization (Docker)
Education: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
Experience: 3+ in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud Build, IAM, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub).
- Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, or equivalent automation tools.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of networking, security, and access management.
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented, systematic thinker.
- Strong communicator able to translate tech issues for non-technical stakeholders.
