Job Description

Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively. 

We are looking for an individual who is willing to build professional relationships with key stakeholders within the company, with the ability to understand complex problems and focus on the best solutions according to the business needs. You will be exposed to a variety of challenges, from technical solutions and design to improving service delivery from an end-to-end perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD processes.
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based environments in AWS.
  • Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployments.
  • Orchestrating and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Administer and maintain GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
  • Documents existing processes
  • Applies good communication skills with team and client interaction.

Qualifications

  • Solid, hands-on experience building and managing AWS infrastructure
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code through tools like AWS CloudFormation
  • Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
  • In-depth knowledge of GitLab for version control and CI/CD
  • Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Team leader experience on previous projects
  • Demonstrated training and/or applied experience as coach and/or mentor.
