DevOps & Azure Cloud Engineer

Netrix Global is looking for a client-facing DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate reliable delivery environments across Azure cloud, on-premises infrastructure, and modern application platforms. The role focuses on CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, infrastructure operations, deployment automation, and production readiness.

The engineer will support cloud and on-premises server administration, networking fundamentals, identity and access management, secrets management, monitoring, and release troubleshooting. The role also requires working knowledge of database administration concepts to coordinate deployments, backups, connectivity, access management, and operational diagnostics with application and data teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong operational ownership and can deploy traditional applications, Microsoft platform solutions, and AI workloads securely and repeatably. Success in this role means stable environments, automated delivery pipelines, clear observability, controlled releases, and faster recovery from incidents.

How You Will Make An Impact  

• Assess client environments and define practical source-control, branching, pull-request, CI/CD, release, and environment-management standards.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and GitHub Actions workflows for applications, infrastructure, data, and AI solutions.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using PowerShell, Python, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Bicep or Terraform.
• Administer and troubleshoot Azure resources, Windows/Linux servers, on-premises environments, hybrid connectivity, and core networking components.
• Implement secure secrets management, certificates, service connections, managed identities, role-based access controls, and release approval processes.
• Support database operational needs, including connectivity, access management, deployment scripts, backup and restore coordination, monitoring, and basic performance diagnostics.
• Deploy and operationalize AI solutions, including dependent APIs, containers, model endpoints, agent services, configuration management, monitoring, and rollback controls.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and platform telemetry.
• Coordinate environment readiness, deployment validation, capacity planning, incident response, root-cause analysis, and recovery planning.
• Communicate infrastructure risks, release status, dependencies, and remediation plans to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, YAML pipelines, GitHub Actions, and branching/pull-request strategies.
• Practical Azure cloud experience covering compute, networking, storage, identity, monitoring, and security, along with Windows/Linux server support across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
• Experience with PowerShell or Python automation, secrets management, release troubleshooting, and infrastructure-as-code fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, load balancing, VPN/private connectivity, and certificates, along with basic DBA knowledge covering connectivity, permissions, deployments, backup/restore, and monitoring.
• Ability to work directly with clients and cross-functional teams, take ownership of incidents, and communicate technical risks clearly.
• Experience with Bicep or Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Experience deploying AI services, Azure OpenAI/Foundry solutions, APIs, containers, Copilot Studio integrations, or agent workloads.
• Experience with Power Platform ALM, CI/CD, data-platform deployments, security scanning, quality gates, and disaster recovery practices.
• Exposure to SQL Server administration, hybrid infrastructure, VMware or comparable virtualization platforms, and enterprise network operations.
• Automated and repeatable deployments across Azure, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Stable infrastructure with controlled access, comprehensive monitoring, backup, and recovery practices.
• Production-ready AI and application deployments with traceable configuration management and rollback paths.
• Faster incident diagnosis, reduced release risk, and clear operational ownership.

Work Schedule: This is a client-facing role. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, demonstrations, delivery reviews, and issue-resolution discussions during the assigned shift.

Standard Shift: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM India Standard Time (IST), equivalent to 2:30 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). During U.S. daylight saving time, the equivalent schedule is 3:30 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
