We are seeking a highly motivated and accountable DevOps Automation Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. This hybrid role blends 50% traditional System Administration responsibilities with 50% automation engineering, focusing on improving operational efficiency, security posture, and scalability through tools like Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.
Key Responsibilities
System & Security Administration (50%)

• Perform system hardening and enforce security baselines across Linux/Windows environments.
• Manage user lifecycle operations (creation, modification, deactivation) in compliance with access control policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulations.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (50%)

• Design and implement automation for repetitive sysadmin and security tasks using Chef, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Build reusable playbooks/modules for provisioning, configuration management, and compliance enforcement.
• Develop scripts and pipelines to assess and report the impact of automation changes.
• Maintain version control and documentation for all automation assets.
