We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Architect with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and security to own the architecture of our platform and lead the evolution of our DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the architecture of our cloud infrastructure, designing scalable, highly available, and secure environments for our SaaS platform and backend services.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both cloud services and endpoint agents across Windows and Linux.
- Define and drive Infrastructure as Code standards and best practices across R&D.
- Lead the design and operation of containerized workloads on Kubernetes in production.
- Build and improve observability, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response processes.
- Embed security and compliance into our infrastructure and delivery processes (DevSecOps).
- Optimize cloud cost, performance, and reliability as the platform scales.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, QA, research, and IT teams, and serve as a point of escalation for complex infrastructure challenges.
- Continuously evaluate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to keep Morphisec at the forefront of innovation.
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, including at least 2 years in an architecture role.
- Extensive hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS and/or Azure), including networking, IAM, and security services.
- Strong production experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
- Experience making critical technical decisions to balance business requirements, feasibility, and scalability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in a cybersecurity company or with security products.
- Experience building and signing Windows applications or drivers within CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or CKA.
