Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries is looking for an experienced and highly motivated device characterization Engineer to work in the ESD/Latch up/eFuse wafer and product laboratory.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Create automated unit tests, and acceptance tests for the JASPER and ESDTRT applications.
- Be a team player in an Agile environment, participating in daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
- Interact collaboratively with other team members and internal customers to ensure that requirements are understood.
- Participates in discussions of functional requirements, design, testing software code reviews and releases of test software components with other developers.
- Must be able to work during normal business hours within the Eastern time zone.
- Monday through Friday or as defined by assignment requirements.
- Must have reliable internet and technologies to operate in a remote setting.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education – Graduating with bachelor’s degree in EE, software engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent; or foreign equivalent required from an accredited degree program.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
- Travel -Up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills

Expected Salary Range
$63,500.00 - $142,000.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
