Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to work on a small, rapid prototyping team of engineers and data scientists building lightweight prototype applications. This is a six month contract opportunity. Be a part of the creation of a tool that is not only interesting to technically construct but will improve our society in our ability to move resources, no matter the circumstances.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing within .NET/.NET Core in C#
- Experience developing and maintaining DevExpress eXpressApp Framework™ (XAF) - ASP.NET Core Blazor applications.
- Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Web Design Principles.
- Familiar with Unit Testing, Mocking, & Continuous Integration
- Strong understanding of design patterns and when best to apply them
- Possess keen analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create and maintain system code and documentation
- Demonstrated adaptability in the fast-paced tech landscape, continually embracing and integrating new technologies and methodologies.
Bonus Points
- Experience using Git
- DevExpress Blazor controls experience

- Analytical Aptitude: Possess keen analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the capability to understand complex software challenges and collaborate toward viable solutions.
- Effective Communication: Skilled in distilling technical complexities into comprehensible terms for varied audiences.
- Adaptive Nature: Resilience and adaptability in the face of an ever-changing tech landscape, with a knack for rapidly integrating new technologies and methodologies.
- Agile Methodology Experience: An understanding and hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and version control tools.
- Agility in Tech: Demonstrated adaptability in the fast-paced tech landscape, continually embracing and integrating new technologies and methodologies.
- Education: While formal education in Computer Science or related fields is a plus, DefconAI values hands-on experience and demonstrable skills above all. Candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience will be considered regardless of their academic pedigree.
