What You'll Do

  • Conduct developmental assessments and evaluations
  • Partner with families to develop and implement IFSP goals
  • Provide home, community, and group-based Early Intervention services
  • Coach and empower caregivers to support their child's development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with EI standards
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 300 hours working with children under the age of 5.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required, including occasional evenings.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other required documentation software.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain certification within designated timeframe).
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families
  • Knowledge of family-centered and coaching-based practices
  • Home or community-based service experience
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
Working Environment

This position is community-based and requires travel to homes and community settings. Candidates must be comfortable working in a variety of environments and utilizing technology for documentation and communication.

Each year, our diverse and dedicated staff of 600+ employees and 300 respite home care providers and foster parents, serves over 10,000 children, adults and families with (or at risk for) developmental disabilities or delays, and their families. We meet the needs of disabled individuals and their families throughout their life – from pregnancy, infancy, and childhood, into adulthood and the senior years. We operate a range of programs, including many in-home services, from eight community offices and 10 residences, to families in 160 communities across eastern and south central Massachusetts. We cover over 50% of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
