Key Responsibilities:
- Define and enforce technical standards, development
protocols, and QA/QC procedures for all Tekla-related deliverables
- Serve as the key technical liaison between the technical
office, engineering, fabrication, and construction teams
- Participate in strategic planning to improve BIM and Tekla
integration across the organization
- Lead and contribute to the design, development, and
maintenance of custom Tekla tools, plugins, components, and automated workflows
using Tekla Open API (C#)
- Guide the implementation of parametric components, custom
templates, intelligent drawings, and automated reporting features
- Oversee the integration of Tekla with ERP, MIS, CNC
fabrication systems, and other digital platforms
- Organize and conduct internal training sessions and
workshops on advanced Tekla and steel detailing workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mandatory)
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Tekla Structures development and
structural steel engineering
- Proven track record of leading Tekla support and development
teams in a structural steel environment
- Expertise in Tekla Open API (C#) and custom plugin
development
- Extensive knowledge of steel fabrication practices,
international detailing codes, and structural design standards
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination,
clash detection, and multi-discipline integration
- Familiarity with platforms such as Revit, Navisworks,
Trimble Connect, and SQL databases is an advantage
