Justification:
Interns will augment DEH Mobile capacity by working on DEH UI/UX Compliance upgrade, Mobile Unit Testing and CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions (Central team compliance) to allow full-time developers to focus on critical/priority customers (MBS, LBS, Salve, Alpha, etc.) commitments and accelerate deliveries.
Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Senior Dev Manager and Senior team members, the intern will collaborate with the team to upgrade the mobile app’s UI components. This position is needed in Manila, Philippines.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design team to update the UI components.
Assist in conducting user research and gathering feedback to inform design decisions.
Update the design and UI components of the Android application.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for improving UI designs.
Support the development of design guidelines, style guides, and design systems.
Engage in team (BA, Dev) design discussions, walkthroughs, and reflect recent agreements for the design.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
Knowledge in software development and programming.
Currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Optional portfolio showcasing mobile projects and creative problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Kotlin, Material Design, IDEs like Android Studio, etc.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
