GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Coordination of all major special events in Corpus Christi, events include but are not limited to Fiesta de los Niños, Golf Classic, Singer Songwriter Showcase, and the South Texas Cattlemen’s Roundups.  Responsible for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of annual sponsors and donors, and duties associated with marketing and publications for all annual events.

  • Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines. 
  • Directs and manages the execution of the annual Fiesta de los Niños event, effectively coordinating a large volunteer committee.
  • Identifies and coordinates patient stories for production of miracle moments and/or featured stories.
  • Directs and coordinates other key annual special events, as identified by the Donor Relations Manager and VP. 
  • Coordinates development related tours and open house events.
  • Responds to public information requests.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
