Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, financial analysis, portfolio and individual asset assessment, and feasibility studies.
  • Evaluate construction pricing, project budgets, investment hurdles and perform scenario analysis in support of development / redevelopment initiatives.
  • Assist with project due diligence, data collection/analysis, underwriting, and reporting.
  • Create and maintain project level Argus software models.
  • Produce and maintain project tracking reports including formal investment presentations.
  • Support the delivery of ground-up development and major redevelopment projects for medical outpatient buildings.
  • Potential for occasional market / project site travel (short duration trips only).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in real estate, development, investment banking, investment underwriting, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with the suite of Microsoft software underwriting, analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • This position works in our corporate headquarters in Nashville.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years relevant experience in real estate, development, investment banking, underwriting, or related fields
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite for underwriting, analysis, and reporting (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience creating and maintaining project-level Argus software models
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder interaction ability
  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on-site at corporate headquarters in Nashville, TN
