Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

  • Performing Development Assurance Activities according to the DevQA processes
  • Mentoring Development Team on topics of System, Software and Hardware topics
  • Monitoring of supplier activities on the topics of System, Software and Hardware
  • Definition of Development Assurance Plans, procedures, work instructions and tools
  • Communication and alignment with Certification Authorities on topics related to Development Assurance
  • Mentoring and training of other engineers on topics related to Development Assurance topics and DevQA processes
  • (When acting as an Airworthiness Engineer) Creation of Certification Plans related to Design Assurance topics
  • (When acting as a CVE) Execution of Design Assurance Audits, both internally and at suppliers

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or similar
  • Min 10 years working experience in DO-178B/C and/or ARP 4754(A) and/or DO-254
  • Min 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • Good communication, negotiation and auditing skills
  • Business fluent in English. Other languages like German would be a plus.
  • Taking initiative: shows curiosity, asks probing questions, and challenges the status quo to make strong decisions while managing and driving change; shows passion and urge to improvement/ change
