Development Lead for SAP Program

Job Description

The position

We are seeking an experienced Development Lead for SAP to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP development, particularly in ABAP and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and a proven track record of leading successful projects. This role involves overseeing the development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality SAP solutions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the SAP development team, providing guidance and mentorship.

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions using ABAP and BTP.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, particularly in ABAP and BTP environments.

• Manage project risks and issues effectively.

• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, focusing on ABAP and BTP.

Required Education, Experience, and Skill

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP development, including ABAP and BTP.

• Proven experience in leading and managing development teams.

• Strong understanding of SAP modules, integration points, and BTP capabilities.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• SAP certification in ABAP or BTP is a plus.
