Haselmeier, part of medmix, has been established in the healthcare market for over 100 years. With around 240 employees, Haselmeier has been pioneering the development of injection pens for subcutaneous use since the 1960s. We continuously drive innovation of self-injection pens - from design and manufacturing to packaging and delivery. We have developed scalable solutions for numerous pharmaceutical partners, always using state-of-the-art engineering practices - and we aim to evolve even further. We design our products with patients' needs in mind. Our injection devices are used in various therapeutic areas to support patients with diabetes, promote fertility treatments and even serve as an option for low-impact cancer therapy.
Job Description
- Design and engineering of new drug delivery systems
- Perform detailed design of mechanical components and assemblies, including design for manufacturing and assembly
- Evaluate performance of systems through the use of calculations, tolerance analysis, FEA, or system simulation
- Plan and conduct feasibility and verification testing
- Create product and development documentation throughout the entire project
Qualifications
- Completed studies in a technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, Mechatronics, medical technology)
- At least 3 years experience in the development of mechanical products.
- Preference for experience with pharmaceutical products, combination products, drug delivery systems, or medical devices
- Knowledge of CAD, design for injection molding, GD&T/GPS, and tolerance analysis
- Experience in validating and apply computer simulation (such as FEA, CFD, or systems modeling) to product development
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Additional proficiency in German is preferred.
- Motivated team player, flexible, high level of problem-solving skills, self-initiative, and independence
