Job DescriptionAs Development Director for Spain, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of Accor’s diverse hotel brand portfolio in one of Europe’s most exciting markets. This strategic position involves identifying new development opportunities, leading negotiations, and nurturing strong relationships with key industry players such as owners, investors, and partners.
What will you do?
- Drive development opportunities across Spain, leading projects from initial contact to signed agreements
- Establish and grow relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, consultants, and legal advisors
- Manage the negotiation process for management, franchise, and joint venture agreements, in collaboration with legal and technical teams
- Design and implement strategic growth plans aligned with local market dynamics and Accor’s global priorities
- Represent Accor at industry forums and events, promoting our brands and identifying new leads
Our ideal profile would be:
- Degree in Hospitality, Business, Real Estate, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in hotel development, investment, real estate, or a closely related field
- Solid understanding of the Spanish hospitality and real estate markets
- Proven experience in sourcing deals, financial structuring, and negotiating hotel contracts
- Well-established network within the Spanish hotel and investment sectors
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
