Position Summary:
Preferred Qualifications:
Four-year degree in relevant field preferred. An equivalent of a high school diploma or GED + 4 years of experience can be substituted.
2 years' experience managing people and systems preferred.
2+ years of donor care and private funding development preferred
Experience using a CRM system for managing donor relations preferred but not required.
Excellent technical language skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Mail chimp, Zoom, etc.
Experience or capacity for technology related to presentations and meetings.
Proficiency in basic document layout. Graphic design skills are a plus but not required.
Must have valid Oregon Driver's license; must have been a licensed driver for at least 2 years; must have a driving record that permits coverage under C@P’s company insurance.
Essential Job Duties Include (But Not Limited To):
Outreach to lapsed and non-renewing donors
Implement a communication plan for First-Time Donors
Implement a Recurring Donor Campaign
Seek out innovative ways to connect Church at the Park impact and story with new donors
Partner with Donor, Finance, and Data teams to analyze data and develop reports to track progress and inform fundraising strategies
Update Donor data entry and tracking. Including the sending of Thank You notes and Year End Tax documents.
Coordinate and maintain donor relationships in partnership with Development Manager
Work with Donor team and Communications team to implement a Donor Care and Communication strategy including scheduled meetings, events, and communications
Collaborate with Communications team in the production of newsletters, mailings, email, and some social media
Participate on the communications team, ensuring donor needs are voiced and considered
Maintain brand continuity across all platforms
Execute strategies to cultivate and solicit monthly gifts from individual donors
Collaborate with the Development and Communications team to plan and implement fundraising events and campaigns
Coordinate Donor Development Strategy
Coordinate Donor Care & Customer Relations Management (CRM) system
Coordinate Donor Communication and Care
Coordinate Fundraising Events for Sustaining Donors
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Primarily an office environment.
Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds or less.
Going up and down stairs multiple times a shift.
High contact with C@P staff.
Weekly contact with people experiencing homelessness.
Driving between Church at the Park operated and managed sites.
Attend required training, team meetings, and learn policies and procedures for C@P operations.
Other Requirements
MUST have valid Oregon Driver’s license; must have been a licensed driver for at least 3 years; must have a driving record that permits coverage under C@P’s company insurance.
All applicants must successfully pass a preemployment drug screening prior to beginning employment.
