Job title: Development Consultant - Temporary Position
Location/Work arrangement: SWHD Main Office in Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Part Time, Temporary – 20 hours per week, 6 weeks
The Development Consultant will provide temporary support to the Development Team Managers during a defined six-week assignment. Responsibilities include assisting with event follow-up, recruitment efforts, cultivating donations from local and national businesses, drafting social media content, supporting corporate partnership opportunities, and contributing to other project-based initiatives as needed. This temporary role is designed to help advance SWHD’s immediate development goals, strengthen community engagement, and expand support for our mission. This is a temporary, part-time position scheduled for up to 20 hours per week for a six-week period.
What you’ll do:
Contact attendees of the August 12th WGC event to invite them to sign up as a member of WGC.
Request “in-kind” donations from businesses for our November golf tournaments.
Assist with developing strategies to approach companies to meet their needs for staff engagement and meetings philanthropic goals.
Temporarily manage day-to-day social media operations, including planning, scheduling, publishing, and moderating content with a high degree of independence.
Monitor social media performance and audience engagement, using insights and trends to refine content strategy and improve results.

Ability to research and approach businesses for donations.
Experience in corporate relations.
Bachelor’s degree
Possess an insured & registered vehicle and a valid AZ driver’s license.
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- DES Criminal Affidavit Required
