ECS is seeking a versatile professional to fill a dual-role position as a Power BI Developer and Technical Requirements Analyst. This position requires the ability to balance technical development work with analytical responsibilities, supporting data visualization initiatives and business analysis needs across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Power BI Developer (50%)
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
- Create data models and optimize performance for enterprise-level reporting solutions
- Build and maintain data transformation processes using Power Query
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective visualizations
- Implement and maintain data governance and security protocols within Power BI
- Document technical specifications and development processes
- Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools and reports
Technical Requirements Analyst (50%)
- Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements from stakeholders
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to meet organizational needs
- Create detailed functional and technical specifications documents
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings
- Validate requirements with technical teams and business users
- Support testing activities and ensure requirements are met in final deliverables
- Maintain requirements traceability matrices and documentation
Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience developing Power BI or other data analytic solutions and dashboards
- 3+ years of technical requirement analysis experience
- Must possess a current CompTIA Security+ CE certification or another DoD-approved certification meeting IAT Level II requirements.
- Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
