Your Opportunity as the Developer, IS Supply Chain
Member of the IS Vertical team supporting Planning and Procurement Supply Chain functions. Under direct guidance, codes, tests, debugs, and documents software applications, integrations, and other related technologies.
Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)
Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires
In this role you will:
Application & Integration Support:
Executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support existing business processes
Learns support model, provides troubleshooting and fixes for software issues and interfaces with 3rd party vendors
Follows defined support call paths including status updates in case management tool
Validates and monitors live solutions
Contributes to root cause identification, prevention, and maintenance activities
Application Delivery:
Writes code or configures software based upon technical designs
Adheres to documented standards for development, code promotion, and change management
Executes unit testing to ensure new functionality meets technical design
Utilizes understanding of data transformation, interface design and other design principles to contribute to technical specifications and solution designs
Supports go-live and hypercare activities
What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Prior experience with technical delivery and familiarity with software development lifecycle
Knowledge of integration methods and API types
Knowledge of modern IT concepts (Cloud Computing, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps)
Knowledge of enterprise toolsets for integration and/or reporting
Ability and desire to learn both legacy and trending technology
Foundation in relational databases and database technology
Foundation in software security principles, including secure coding and data protection
High personal standards and integrity
Embraces a customer service mindset
Effective spoken and written communication skills
Problem solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to conceptualize technical concepts
Shows resilience and pivots gracefully when things change
