Integration Engineer

We’re looking for an Integration Engineer to join our team. This is an opportunity for a strong builder with founder energy who wants to own integrations, developer-facing tooling, and the engineering side of growth.

The ideal candidate is a cracked engineer who can ship quickly, maintain clean abstractions, and work across marketing, product, and growth to make Vapi easy to adopt and scale.

This is not a marketing role — it’s a hands-on engineering role focused on integrations, SDKs, technical docs, and product-led growth.

• Integrations: Build and maintain product integrations (API, SDKs, third-party platforms, and growth/marketing tooling).

• Web & Growth Engineering: Own technical work for marketing sites, landing pages, and growth experiments.

• Open Source & SDKs: Maintain and improve SDKs, CLI tools, and open-source repos that help developers succeed.

• Documentation: Write and update technical documentation to ensure developers can self-serve and get to production quickly.

• Internal Partnering: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to support launches and developer onboarding.

• Feedback Loop: Surface technical gaps and propose improvements based on developer adoption and integration experiences.

• Have 3+ years of experience as a software engineer at a dev tools/API/platform company

• Have shipped production software and can confidently own integrations end-to-end

• Are comfortable working across web, backend, and SDK/tooling projects

• Enjoy building developer-facing tooling and smoothing the path to adoption

• Are scrappy, resourceful, and able to switch between building fast and building right

• Prior work with voice, AI, or real-time media

• Experience with SDKs, CLIs, or open-source contributions

• Strong interest in growth engineering or product-led adoption
