This is a remote position.
We are looking for a Software Developer with experience in application development, system maintenance, database interaction, and mobile development. This role involves working across multiple technologies and programming languages, contributing to existing systems, developing new functionalities, and supporting both web and mobile applications.
The position requires strong technical skills, attention to documentation, effective collaboration in Agile environments, and the ability to independently manage tasks and deadlines in a 100% remote setting.
Software Development & Maintenance
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Framework.
- Implement enhancements and new functionalities in existing systems.
- Contribute to projects involving multiple programming languages, including C++, Java, TypeScript, C, Python, and Kotlin.
- Design, develop, and maintain Android and iOS mobile applications, ensuring performance, compatibility, and a seamless user experience across platforms.
Version Control & Code Management
- Use GitHub for version control, code reviews, and team collaboration.
- Follow best practices for source code documentation, version control, and branch management.
- Use GitHub's project-tracking capabilities to monitor requests and improvements.
Database Development
- Write and optimize SQL queries for database interactions.
- Design and maintain efficient data structures to support system performance.
- Develop triggers and functions and apply a database-first approach to system architecture.
Troubleshooting & Optimization
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs.
- Optimize code and database operations to improve system performance.
Agile Collaboration
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and goals.
Development & Integration
- Use Python for scripting, automation, and system integration.
- Support projects requiring integration with different programming languages and tools.
Technical Documentation & Communication
- Create clear and detailed technical documentation covering code, system processes, and architecture decisions.
- Maintain documentation as an ongoing priority as systems evolve.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members and clients.
Self-Management
- Independently manage workload in a 100% remote environment.
- Consistently meet established deadlines and provide regular progress updates.
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks and proactively track requests through GitHub or other project management tools.
Requirements
- Experience developing applications with Java and Spring Framework.
- Experience working with multiple programming languages, particularly Java, Python, TypeScript, C++, C, and/or Kotlin.
- Experience developing or maintaining Android and iOS applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database structures, triggers, and functions.
- Experience with GitHub, version control, code reviews, and branch management.
- Strong debugging and software optimization skills.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- B1+ English proficiency required.
