- Assists in the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of the Enterprise Resource Programs and related systems. This involves a range of responsibilities such as updating documentation, computer programming and conducting systems administration.
- SAP ABAP Programming including Forms, Reports, Enhancements, Conversions, Interfaces, Workflow, SAP script, and Adobe Smart Forms.
- Creation of SAP OSS Messages and Support Tickets, as well as the Application of OSS Notes.
- Verifying and validating system operation, including writing and executing test procedures and test scripts, conducting functional and technical reviews, correcting defects, and providing technical support.
- Performing and documenting impact analyses and development estimates for change requests.
- Assists with technical design and functional specifications for business applications, identifies user needs, analyzes options and alternatives, and Recommends modifications to applications as appropriate
- Makes presentations or conducts training on new or changed systems.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Java (advantageous, not mandatory).
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
The following are required for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Math, Engineering or related field or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 6 years SAP FRICEW object development experience using ABAP
- SAP application development from basic ABAP through advanced technologies.
- Report writing using ALV and ABAP lists.
- RFCs/BADIs/BAPIs,Userexits/enhancements, BDCs,LSMW,Workflow,WebDynpro.
- Use of Structured Methodology.
- Software development lifecycle.
- Change management, transports and source code control.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must possess good problem solving skills.
- Must be able to interact well with all levels of management.
- Must be able to work well as a member of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to translate business requirements and design concepts into intuitive designs and applications.
- Ability to explain and discuss complex analysis and programming issues in a manner that can be understood by non-technical persons.
- Ability to analyze and define complex program structures.
- Working knowledge of SAP functional modules (SD, MM, FI, FSCM, etc.) desired
