Key Responsibilities
- Guide user discovery to identify needs, accessibility needs, and core tasks.
- Turn research findings into seamless, accessible interaction designs.
- Leverage testing, metrics, and experiments to inform choices, track user paths, and refine based on data.
- Partner across teams, coach colleagues, and promote user-focused practices.
- Strengthen UX expertise and connections within DXI and the broader organization amid our major Platform Engineering and AI scaling initiative.
Core Tasks
- Shape BCSS DX strategy and roadmap alongside NM, BOS, CNE, and CNS groups.
- Execute user studies, usability tests, and collaborative workshops.
- Craft user journeys, info structures, and inclusive interaction designs.
- Develop robust, speedy production DX for UI development.
- Set metrics, review usage data, and optimize iteratively.
- Foster teamwork with engineering, product, and AI groups while building a thriving UX network.
Required Skills
- Proven strengths in UX research, testing, accessibility, and design.
- Solid front-end development for responsive, efficient interfaces.
- Analytical approach favouring data, experiments, and insights.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities in collaborative settings.
- Capacity to expand UX practices and forge cross-team relationships.
