Role Summary
As the Developer Evangelist at DevRev, you will be responsible for developing and owning the narrative that inspires DevRev's developer users and builds confidence in the solutions on top of DevRev. You will represent the overall DevRev brand to external users, create momentum and drive adoption of the platform, and champion DevRev's developer products through presentations, documentation and demos. This role requires strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a creative and empathetic approach.
What you'll do:
- Develop and own the developer narrative internally and externally on how our products help to solve problems.
- Create momentum and drive adoption of the platform through your interactions with developers building applications and businesses on DevRev.
- Champion DevRev's developer products in person and online by presenting at conferences, events and meetups
- Build inspiring demos, sample apps that demonstrate the functionality of DevRev's products for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure DevRev's partners use the right architecture and follow coding guidelines for creating applications on DevRev.
- Improve cross-team coordination across platform and product teams to unblock development.
What you'll need:
- Confident and comfortable presenting to different types of audiences, large and small.
- Adept skills communicating technically complicated topics simply and elegantly.
- Strong hands-on developer who is comfortable with full-stack development.
- Built full-scale demos of products that demonstrate their capabilities and inspire your users Intellectually curious, with great problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a developer advocacy, evangelism, or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS or tech company.
