Dev Engineer Full Stack Java
Job Description
The Dev Engineer (Full Stack) is accountable for application development and maintenance of web components / applications and microservices based on Spring Boot Framework.
Strong knowledge in front-end and client technologies including JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS and frameworks like Angular/React/Vue JS.
Preferences for profiles with Microsoft platform (.Net technology Visual Basic.Net/C# language) experience.
Your code implementation will need to follow solution design and enterprise architect guidance, ensuring compliance with ING standards relating to quality, performance, security, and code maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Application development according to ING Bank standards
- Work in an agile team in adherence with the solution design and enterprise architect team
- Design, write and perform Unit Tests
- Work with Release team for code versioning management
- Follow and support team defect and bug identification and resolution during test phase.
- Follow and support Production issue resolution
- Check and give feedback on functional and technical analysis
- Manage communication and escalation processes when required
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience
- Skilled and with proven experience in web development based on front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular to create scalable and reusable UI components.
- Experience in front-end development based on HTLM, CSS, Javascript
- Proven experience in application development with JAVA on/with J2EE platform, Spring, Spring Boot
- Advanced experience in REST & SOAP application services development
- Preferences for profiles with experience on .Net Framework (preferred asp.net web development)
- Junit testing, Test Driven Development and Spring Integration testing
- Good knowledge of issue and code versioning tools (Azure and Git)
- Knowledge with JBoss application server and Tomcat container
- Good knowledge of DBMS and SQL (Oracle, PL/SQL)
- Good knowledge of IT Technologies
- Good English level (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
