The PositionThe Materials Management Organization is a cornerstone of the Production Site Kaiseraugst, encompassing the management of production/packaging planning, local procurement, materials planning, and master data. You will be part of the Kaiseraugst Planning Community, contributing significantly to securing the global pharmaceutical supply. Our focus is on efficiency, continuous improvement, and maintaining the highest quality standards in a dynamic, global environment.
As a Detailed Scheduler, you are directly responsible for the creation and implementation of an optimal packaging schedule for the packaging operation in Kaiseraugst. Your role is to ensure the quantity- and deadline-compliant supply to the Pharma Supply Chain by providing the operation with a highly detailed and coordinated production plan. Your analytical skills and E2E mindset are crucial for keeping the supply chain stable and responsive.
The OpportunityEnsuring Supply: Guaranteeing the quantity- and deadline-compliant supply to the Pharma Supply Chain by providing an optimal production plan.
Capacity and Shift Planning: Responsibility for defined SAP MRP Controllers and planning of capacities, shifts, and interruptions (inspections, revisions) in coordination with the production operations.
Material Availability: Checking the material availability of bill of materials components and initiating appropriate measures with relevant SMEs in case of missing parts.
Production Sequence and Batch Allocation: Creating and updating the production sequence on the relevant operations level and allocating Drug Product batches, considering all restrictions.
Monitoring and Prioritization: Monitoring all planning-relevant steps and prioritizing production dates during bottlenecks in coordination with Supply Planning, Order & Distribution Management, and production operations.
Inventory Management: Active monitoring of inventory levels (DP/SEMP), proactive prevention of potential write-offs, and timely destruction of goods according to the defined process.
Information Flow and Systems: Ensuring information flow through regular alignment with interface functions (meetings, huddles) and mapping planning-relevant data in SAP as the Single Source of Truth.
Problem-Solving and Influence: Demonstrated abilities in influencing, motivating, and negotiating at all levels to resolve conflicts within the detailed scheduling horizon.
Process and Team Focus: A team player focused on cross-functional collaboration, possessing a broad understanding of the business and an E2E mindset.
Communication and Language: Excellent communication skills and presentation acumen; very good communication in German and English.
