CarShop is seeking a Detail Manager to lead our Detail Department and ensure every vehicle meets the high cosmetic standards our customers expect. Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

What You'll Do

As the Detail Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the Detail Department while ensuring every vehicle is prepared to CarShop's high standards for retail sale and customer delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Detail Department
  • Supervise the cosmetic preparation of inventory and customer delivery vehicles
  • Schedule and assign work to maximize quality, efficiency, and productivity
  • Ensure all vehicles meet CarShop's appearance and quality standards
  • Train, coach, and develop Detail Associates to achieve departmental goals
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and mentorship
  • Maintain departmental records, reports, and operational metrics
  • Develop and recommend process improvements that enhance quality and efficiency
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
What We're Looking For
  • Previous automotive detailing experience required
  • Previous leadership or management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive detailing techniques, products, and equipment
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop team members
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Positive attitude with strong leadership and communication skills
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and accountability
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing
