We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Destination Manager to join our Greater China Sales Team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our growth by discovering the best and most popular things to do in travel destinations. Your focus will be on acquiring new accounts to join our marketplace, and negotiate the best possible conditions. You will be at the forefront of the travel experience industry, and support GetYourGuide’s growth of Mainland China.

As part of our leading team of GetYourGuide Destination Managers, you will:

• Own your destination(s) and key performance metrics including;
• Product inventory growth and related activation rate
• Grow your Book of Business on revenue, conversion, and customer experience
• Increase coverage on targeted categories in selected locations
• Be responsible for the entire sales funnel: from research, prioritization, pre-sales, and post-sales, negotiating with key attractions and operators for the best deals.
• Build long-term value-driven relationships with our supply partners
• Keep up with the destination’s tourism trends and competitor landscape
• Be an ambassador of the GetYourGuide brand on all fronts: webinars, workshops, trade shows, and supplier meetings
• Have a regular presence in the field; experience our products to improve customers’ pain points with solutions suggested and implemented by supply partners that will create unforgettable experiences for our customers
• Educate suppliers to use our backend

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (English-led workplace experience as a plus)
• Native written and verbal communication in Mandarin
• 5+ years of B2B OTA/ tech/ e-commerce sales experience
• 3+ years Mainland Chinese business experience
• Thrive in meeting and exceeding your aggressive sales targets with a proven track record
• Self-motivated, innovative, data-driven, and enjoy the challenge of making something out of nothing
• Results-focused with prioritization skills
• Strategic and with strong business acumen, knowing how to influence both internally and externally
• Experience in working efficiently with CRM (Salesforce as a plus)
• Passionate about travel and making an impact
• Customer-centric - understanding both the international customers and local suppliers
• Team-player
