Position Summary
Resolve basic client support requests for software, hardware, network, and all other IT services
Essential Functions
- Install and maintain a wide range of software products including operating systems, office productivity suites, antivirus, browsers, etc.
- Deploy and maintain desktops, laptops, PC components, phones, printers, monitors, projectors, mobile storage, and other devices
- Prepare documentation regarding IT work, including details regarding required equipment and software tools
- Pursue training and development opportunities to continuously build knowledge and skills
Additional Duties
- Will interface as needed with 3rd party help desks for troubleshooting assistance
- As assigned
- Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems and a working knowledge of client server architectures, database systems and applications
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Strong communication skills; able to explain technical information to non-technical audience
- Good problem solving abilities; able to troubleshoot problems independently and offer timely resolutions
- Detail oriented
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or similar major preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Must be authorized to work in the US currently and in the future without employer sponsorship.
- Work is generally performed in an office environment
- May be required to sit for extended periods of time
- Will be required to work with and visit other employees frequently
- The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
