Job Description
Responsible for supporting IT hardware, provides asset tracking on IT Infrastructure, PC imaging and deployment throughout company, supporting on-site audio-visual systems, and support of the executive staff.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tests and resolves any issues when building new equipment.
- Establish and sets standards to identify personal computer/technology requirements based on business needs.
- Responsible for PC Hardware support, including PC reimages and Dell Support calls.
- Responsible for Client Infrastructure asset management tracking, including retrieval, procurement, replacement, and deployment.
- Evaluates and makes recommendations on new equipment based on Company and Client needs and preferences.
- Evaluate and recommend software based on business needs/requests or lifecycle demands.
- Responsible for research, planning, implementing, and supporting all Microsoft applications and potential services.
- Develops quality measurement and reporting procedures for support to manage the satisfaction of service level agreements.
- Perform hardware set up, software installation/configuration and the day-to-day administration of Windows operating system and related services.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and supporting audio visual systems.
- Assist in planning and implementing the IT requirements and needs of infrastructure projects.
- Providing training and documentation to end-users regarding processes, equipment, or software they may use.
- Establish and continuously improve the processes for position related functions.
- Participate in off hour on call problem resolution process.
- May be required to work nights/weekends to meet deadlines as requested by management.
- Support the executive leadership team with premier service and support.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Associate’s degree or High School Diploma or GED with 4 years’ experience.
- 3+ years of information technology experience.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office products, Internet, printing, operating systems, network operating systems, audio/visual systems, and communications.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities.
- Presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering discipline or business discipline with applied information technology
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Environment, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SCCM, technical architecture design, data communications, network operations, local and wide area network, security, disaster recovery, virus management, PC imaging, and backup and recovery management.
- A+ Certification
- Certification from CompTIA or equivalent
- MTA – Microsoft Technology Associate
- Project management experience
- Experience with executive level support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
