Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides hands-on day-to-day technical support service for all user software and hardware.
Installs, configures, and troubleshoots desktop systems, laptops and workstations in diverse environment including R&D and operations.
Being the face of IT and therefore provides guidance and support on credentials, data integrity and file system security for the end user environment.
Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.
Recommends hardware, accessories, and software solutions to users.
Organizes the procurement and logistics of hardware for Europe, including new acquisitions and upgrade projects.
Hands over IT equipment to users and conducts an introduction of our IT base services to new starters.
Provides remote support for InfoSec, Network and Infra teams and participate in local aspects of their projects.
Supports the global EUCS deployment and roll-out projects for the sites being responsible for.
May conduct training programs designed to educate users about basic and specialized applications.
Maintains the company’s mobile phone contracts for Germany.
Organizes IT aspects of meetings being held in Eningen, from All Hands with CEO to PI events from R&D.
Ensures proper e-waste of all IT equipment with a complaint disposal of all data medium.
Provides special support for the balancing act in operations between modern standards and the test systems that have evolved over the years.
Manages loaner equipment for broken systems, internal trainings, fairs, and travel.
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of previous customer & technical support experience.
Fluency in German and English.
Network experience.
Audio-visual experience.
Day-to-day troubleshooting experience.
This role is primarily based onsite with occasional working from home.
