Job Summary: 

We are seeking a proactive IT Desktop Engineer who excels not only in providing world-class support but also in automating solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about using scripting to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance the end-user experience for our global team.

What you will be responsible for:

• Provide daily maintenance, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for IT equipment such as video system devices, laptops, and printers, while actively identifying opportunities for automation.
• Promptly respond to global employee service requests via email, ticket system (ServiceNow/Jira), etc., and maintaining ≤24hr SLA compliance (Business Hours).
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, common office software, and mobile applications, leveraging scripting for silent installations and consistent mass deployments.
• Create KB articles and conduct user training sessions on IT best practices.
• Administer and maintain Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms (e.g., Intune, Jamf) for software deployment, patch management, and device configuration, utilizing scripting to create custom compliance policies and automate complex tasks.
• Design, write, and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate repetitive IT tasks, manage system configurations, and generate reports.
• Assist the IT team in completing other daily tasks and projects.

How you will stand out:

• Bachelor's degree in computer-related fields preferred.
• 1+ years of IT desktop support or related experience.
• Strong scripting proficiency in at least one language (PowerShell is highly preferred, Bash is a plus). Proven ability to write, debug, and maintain scripts to solve real-world problems.
• Expert in Windows: AD, Bitlocker, WIM imaging, and advanced GPO management (including the use of PowerShell for GPO automation).
• Intermediate macOS troubleshooting (Keychain, FileVault, MDM enrollment).
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Mandarin/English language proficiency for communication with stakeholders.
• [Preferred] Familiarity with Python for scripting or interacting with APIs is a significant advantage.
