Overview
The Desktop Engineering Audit & Policy Engineer supports ISS’ global IT Services team by monitoring, documenting, and improving desktop engineering processes. The role includes policy compliance, software audits, technical troubleshooting, and occasional 3rd‑level global support across US, EMEA, and APAC. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with strong communication skills, technical depth, and a passion for process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct software and process audits; maintain accurate documentation.
- Support Windows 11 deployments, application packaging, patching, and imaging.
- Build reports on deployment success rates through PowerBI.
- Build operating dashboards on software and patch deployment
- Ensure desktops meet security standards, remain patched, and follow IT policies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams and escalate issues as needed.
- Update IT desktop procedures and support global standards and process improvements.
- Partner with vendors and procurement on hardware/software issues and purchases.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Technical Support or Desktop Engineering.
- Strong experience with Intune imaging, packaging, and patching.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows 11, Office 365, AD, and Group Policy.
- Strong experience in PowerShell and PowerBI.
- Familiarity with DORA metrics; MacOS experience is a plus.
- ServiceNow/Jira/Remedy experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Dell, Lenovo, Apple hardware, iOS/Android support.
- Understanding of ITIL and structured Service Desk operations.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, global, multi‑time zone environments.
- A+, MCSE, or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Work Location & Schedule
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, mid‑shift (1 PM–10 PM PHT)
- Location: Ayala North Exchange Tower 1, Makati

Skills Required
- 5 years working in a Technical Support, Desktop Engineering, or other IT team
- 5 years experience in creating, troubleshooting, and deploying operating system images, applications, and patches with SCCM
- 2-3 years experience with documenting and verifying processes
- 2 years experience supporting Windows 11
- 2-3 years experience in Microsoft's Active Directory and Group Policy
- 3 years experience supporting Office 365 products
- Experience with Apple MacOS and management systems
- Experience in Powershell scripting
- Experience in ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy or similar service delivery application
- Knowledge of various hardware platforms including Dell, Lenovo, and Apple
- Knowledge of and ability to support iOS and Android phones
- Knowledge of structured Service Desk functions and operation under ITIL framework
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to define & document IT/Product support procedures as required
- A+, MCSE, or other technology certifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
