The Role

The Desk Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the highest quality trading product. This is a highly managerial role focused on coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, as well as managing workloads, resources, and planning. The role involves conducting performance analyses, creating reports, and maintaining constant communication with internal teams and upper management.

The ideal candidate will have industry experience and strong knowledge of Tennis or Football. Exceptional organizational, managerial, and leadership skills are required, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, develop, and motivate employees to achieve their best performance.
  • Lead the team to meet organizational expectations for productivity, quality, and goal achievement.
  • Manage workloads and resources, ensuring effective short- and long-term planning.
  • Oversee recruitment, conduct interviews, and manage onboarding processes.
  • Address disciplinary matters when required in a fair and professional manner.
  • Analyze and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
  • Represent the team in customer communications and presentations.
  • Maintain close communication and collaboration with relevant teams in Tallinn and other Genius Sports offices.

Requirements:

  • Proven team management and leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic workload.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of odds and sports betting.
  • In-depth understanding of Tennis or Football.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to maintain focus on multiple objectives simultaneously.
