Responsible for creating structural packaging and display samples to assist sales growth in the Converting Division.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on packaging or display projects assignments assigned by the Creative Director, GM, or Sales and be able to execute design ideas within Artios, Creative Suite, and a 3d rendering tool depending on project needs.
- Assist with making samples on CAD table or cut samples by hand.
- Record keeping and filing of specifications.
- Meet time schedules on projects with possible overtime involved.
- Make production specifications from proto-type.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Additional duties and projects for learning initiatives may be assigned by director and associate director
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Currently pursuing College education or heavy college coursework in the field of computers, CAD, and drafting, or applicable work experience.
- Good communicator with customers and sales staff.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
- Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.
- Able to apply concepts of high school math.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
