Skills and Responsibilities
As a Designer at CBA, you will play a crucial role in contributing to medium-sized projects, developing creative solutions that are perfectly aligned with our clients' needs and brand goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conceptual & Craft Excellence:Delivering strong conceptual thinking and demonstrating exceptional craft in all design outputs, ensuring high-quality visual execution.
- Collaborative Partnership:Working effectively with internal teams and collaborating with clients to understand project requirements and successfully meet established goals and deadlines.
- Multi-Channel Design:Contributing to a variety of projects across diverse channels, including digital platforms, print materials, and experiential activations, ensuring a cohesive brand presence.
- Brand Continuity:Ensuring design continuity and coherence across all deliverables, meticulously aligning creative work with the overarching brand strategy and guidelines.
- Best Practices & Deadlines:Applying industry best practices in design and workflow, consistently meeting project deadlines and managing your time effectively across multiple tasks.
- Teamwork & Critiques:Actively engaging in design critiques, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment to elevate collective work.
- AI for Efficiency:Utilizing AI tools and resources to enhance creativity, streamline design processes, and increase overall efficiency in your daily tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will possess a blend of foundational experience, creative talent, and technical proficiency:
- Agency Experience:Some demonstrable experience working within a design or branding agency environment, showcasing an understanding of agency workflows and client demands.
- Creative & Conceptual Abilities:A strong portfolio highlighting robust creative and conceptual abilities, with a clear understanding of how to translate ideas into compelling visual designs.
- Trend Awareness:A solid knowledge of current design trends, cultural shifts, and market dynamics, enabling you to create relevant and forward-thinking design solutions.
- Technical Proficiency:Proficiency in key design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Miro, and a willingness to integrate AI tools into your workflow.
- Visual Ideation:The ability to effectively sketch and visually represent ideas and concepts quickly, facilitating clear communication during the early stages of design development.
- Motion & Digital Skills:Foundational skills in motion graphics and digital design, with an understanding of how to create engaging visual content for various digital platforms.
- Passion for Design:A genuine passion for design, a commitment to creative excellence, and an eagerness to learn and grow within a leading global design agency.
- Communication: English speaking is a MUST.
