Why we’re hiring

We’re rapidly growing and looking for a Junior Visual Designer to help expand our visual brand and bring our designs to the next level. Reporting into the Visual Designer on the Marketing team, you will assist in creating exciting and unique visual campaigns and marketing materials. The ideal candidate has a strong visual eye, is highly creative, meticulous, and loves to explore new ideas. You are a team player, love sharing ideas and collaborating.

What you’ll be doing

• With the guidance of the Visual Designer, create consistent and scalable design solutions across all platforms including but not limited to: 
• Work with the demand generation and product marketing teams to create compelling ads, collateral, presentation decks, illustrations, iconography, emails, and landing pages
• Work with the events team to create unique virtual and in-person experiences
• Work with the content team to create blog images, infographics, and social media assets
• Create beautiful, unique visuals that align with our visual brand and company mission
• Work within brand guidelines to create work that fits among existing marketing collateral and evolve guidelines as needed
• Work closely with the Visual Designer to create engaging campaigns that push our visual brand further.
• Help maintain brand consistency through design critiques and iterations
• Own design work and manage time appropriately to meet established deadlines at a high standard
• Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with regular interaction and direction from project leaders and team members

Who we're looking for 

• 1-2 years of visual design experience at a fast-paced agency or in-house creative environment
• Outstanding visual communication skills, creating compelling visual designs with consideration for illustration, typography, color, iconography, interaction, and data visualization (motion is a plus)
• Ability to think strategically, creatively, and tactically to articulate compelling visual ideas, mood definition boards and design with high quality renders
• Receptive to taking design cues and direction and extrapolate them across mediums
• A passion for clean and impactful designs
• Strong skill set in Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), and Figma
• Excellent communicator and collaborator that can clearly articulate design concepts and decisions, and be comfortable receiving feedback and pushing forward
• High attention to detail and organizational skills 
• A diverse portfolio with links to strong examples of brand, system and campaign work
• Experience with animation, video, motion graphics and other dynamic tools is a plus
